TRE® is an innovative series of simple exercises that work with deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma—assisting your body to release, reset, and finally, relax. Once learned, you can use the exercises independently as needed throughout your life.
The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return to a state of balance. TRE® is not intended as therapy. TRE is a self help tool to develop self-regulation to help the client’s achieve an embodied state of balance.
